STAR Workplace Recognition Program
The STAR Workplace program is designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of STAR employers and the dedicated employees that work within the organisation.
The HR Coach Research Institute developed the STAR Workplace Program after years of research into the factors behind staff-focused, high performing workplaces and the resulting accreditation is akin to giving outstanding employers the “heart tick” of approval.
Latest News: QUEENSLAND’S peak tourism body, the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC), has been recognised as a STAR Workplace through its participation in a national benchmarking program that identifies excellent employers.
How does my business become a STAR?
Any organisation, regardless of size, can be a STAR Workplace in Three Simple Steps:
- Team Surveys
Your employees complete an online or paper based survey. This is completely confidential and individual responses are only available to Pirouette HR Solutions for the analysis. The survey is designed to find out what your employees think about the workplace and any suggestions for improvement.
- A 1 hour Meeting with the Manager
Pirouette HR Solutions will conduct a 1 hour meeting survey session with the business owner/ manager to measure your satisfaction with the workplace.
- A STAR Results Meeting
This workshop meeting will be conducted with you, the business owner/ manager, to evaluate the report results and Executive Summary. You will also have the opportunity to work with your HR Coach to build your action plan for the future based on the results of your STAR rating.

The STAR Workplace Report will provide you with a series of quantifiable and easy to understand results which clearly display whether your business needs are aligned with your people needs.
Combined with the Workplace Improvement Plan that Pirouette HR Solutions can assist you in developing, the STAR Workplace Report provides you and your team with clear benchmarks and goals for improvement.
